Lost Cat in Parkdale is reunited

ID: 183995

You know your pet - trust your instinct straight away. My cat does travel along the fences occasionally but is never far away and spends 95% of her time fast asleep in our garden or indoors on my bed. As soon as she was wasn’t waiting for breakfast I knew she was in trouble.

I left it a whole day but she didn’t return for dinner either - she’s the kind of cat that is waiting for me to come home from work.

I made flyers using the Pet Finders help and put them in all the immediate neighbours postboxes. After 10pm I went looking and calling - I saw a cat in a window of a close by property and it was distressed, looking for a way out and appeared to be Nunu- i knocked on the door - the owner said he hadn’t seen a cat but I left the flyer and within 15mins she came in the cat flap, hungry and thirsty. So grateful.
She has a tiny voice and is more frightened of people than anything else so wouldn’t be loud but would cower away if in a place she wasn’t intending to be caught up in.

Very blessed to have her back.

Do the door knocking. Do the flyers. Walk the street when it’s quiet. And most importantly act quickly - it is a very stressful time for everyone - parents, children and other pets. Have faith !
