Lost Cat in Coburg is reunited

ID: 182749

Spot has a fairly regular routine. As I work from home I know her routine well. When she wasn't around early in the morning we searched all her hiding spots and then the whole house.

We knew she wasn't there. It was terrifying. She's young and wasn't used to being out on the street. Immediately sprang into action. We registered with every pet finder, did door knocks, walked every street, put up flyers, contacted shelters, the local council and vets.

As the night fell we both had a good cry. But the next day we became more determined to find her. We left her kitty litter out back so she could get the scent and left windows open so she could get back in.

It's an emotional roller coaster as you have no idea where they are, if they're safe. We both kept up hope and every day and night went out looking for her. Spoke to anyone who took interest. Carried food and torches and went out late at night and early morning.

This morning we were just walking down the hall and there she was. 4 days later. She was dirty and smelled and her collar had been removed and put back on backwards. Not sure if someone took her or if they simply found her. But she's home and we couldn't be happier.
