Lost Dog in Lisarow is reunited

ID: 90612

Our boxer puppy Melia has been found after been missing for 9 days and nights.! She is home safe!
Last night a Gosford resident found her hiding under the shallow deck of his unit only two streets away from where she was last seen running under a moving car and disappearing up Henry Parrey Drive! Frightened, disoriented with cuts and skin missing we took her straight to the emergency vet. Blood test showed all vital signs in normal range. She had temperature, most likely caused by an infection of a swollen leg where she is badly chafed and of course she has lost a lot of weight. She is now on antibiotics, painkillers and cream for her cuts. We will take her for another check by our own vet early next week as recommended by the emergency vet.
From the bottom of our heart we would like to thank everyone who has posted, shared and cared so much and kept an eye out for Melia. Thanks to your support and help I hung on and kept my hope alive.
Thank you Thank you Thank you
For everyone missing their beloved pet - don’t give up hope! Miracles do happen!
