Lost Pets at NSW Council Pounds

LOCAL POUNDS & SHELTERS NSW

If you lost your pet in a densly populated area of New South Wales like Sydney your lost cat or dog can be taken to a number of Govenment Pounds or Animal Holding Facilites. As you already know it is imperative that you visit those places in person. If your pet is not at your local shelter, keep expanding your search to neighbouring council pounds. Pets can be taken out of your immediate area and driven to a different location.

Many pounds have found cats and dogs displayed online for your convenience. They are marked with PETS ONLINE on our list. Check those regularly, but don't rely on them fully. We also have pounds that impound birds, rabbits and even livestock marked with OTHER PETS Councils that have humane cat traps for hire are marked with TRAP HIRE Councils that can send out a ranger to pick up a found dog are marked with PICK UP DOGS
