Brisbane City Council Lost and Found Pets


If you have a lost or a found dog, cat, rabbit, etc. you can contact Brisbane City Council for help. They maintain a register for lost and found animals. They also take reports about barking or dangerous dogs roaming the streets. The animals are help in the designated pounds for a prescribed period of time. If no one comes forward to claim it the animal may be rehomed. As a last resort, if an animal is not suitable for rehoming it may be euthanised.

LOOK FOR YOUR PET:

If an animal is found and surrendered in the Brisbane area it will be forwarded to Animal Welfare League Queensland (AWLQ) - Pets Online
